瑋慈’s Family Portrait
Pictures are never static
they slowly change along with time and age — and quietly, we’ve been shooting for six or seven years now
At first everyone called us young and promising; now we’ve become middle-aged uncles.
There’s a classmate and little fan who has supported us since Dahao had nothing — when we weren’t even sure we’d still be open tomorrow
all the way to now: from pre-wedding and wedding shoots to the family portrait we promise to take together every year
Though the way we set it up was a bit odd:
“Hey, next autumn when the wind sweeps the leaves away, my son will be one and running around — let’s do a family portrait then!!”
On the day of the shoot, your interactions with Hehe were overflowing with love
We believe Hehe will grow up safe and sound, honest and kind
Thank you for always trusting us and letting us record so many important moments
We look forward to many more — let us keep shooting until Hehe turns eighteen.

Baby, this home was prepared by mom, dad and all the family who love you, working together before you were born, so you could grow up somewhere safe — and after you arrived, our home became truly complete.
The Lego we built together, the picture books we read together, the table where we eat together, the bed where we nap together — every day we keep each other company warms the whole home.
You’ll remember the corner outside our home, where the slanting evening sun stretched our walking shadows so long, as we crossed the road hand in hand. You’ll remember that if you climb the slope just a little more, you’ll see the big park where you grew up. And you’ll remember that long, long slide that mom and dad both rode down holding you.
