Dahao – Personal Portraits / Poems of a Post-Adolescence / Falling in love with yourself isn’t easy either. Facing your flaws, and loving, accepting and embracing them — the struggle is no less than it is for two people. Loneliness magnifies everything too; my anger, sadness and melancholy have nowhere to go. Even so, I want to keep growing up alongside this version of myself. I tell myself: “It’s okay, you’re doing great.” Then I give myself a hug, and give my heart a little courage to face tomorrow. Whatever shape I’m in, I love myself just as I am.
